MANIC MONDAYS 2

We were seriously floored by last nights kick off of MANIC MONDAYS. It was RAW!! Special thanks to Jared F, J Stone and Keahi. Jared was wearing at least three hats last night. All of them with style. J Stone dropped some beat box styles that blew the crowd away. We worked in a wide variety of music and made sure to elude to the MATRIX's 60's providence. Thanks to all who joined us and we hope to see you all next week. Check PARTYMUSICFORSLUTS.COM for all the latest 411, Dj sets and Refixes!!!

Free Ballin'

Here's a quick one i fixed up for all my Djs out there. Rock this little ditty at the end of the night for some cellphone or lighter waiving action!!!

Free Ballin (Dj Mei-Lwun Refix) - Jay Z Vs Tom Petty (Redz RMX)

Slimi Hendrix?

I've been thinking about doing a Hendrix vs Hip Hop mashup album lately but cant decide on a particular artist. Im leaning towards Eminem because hes got a bunch of material and i could call it the Slimi Mathers Experience or something like that. I'm open to suggestions so please leave some in the comments. Frankly im a bit concerned that nobody seem to like to comment....

Oh Lord Ima Walk it Out

Janis Joplin's Mercedes Benz has always been a song which resonated for me. It's just so Hip-Hop. Check out this work in progress that includes Walk It Out.

PS: From my dear mother who didn't know you could comment comes this perfect description of not only Janis Joplin but my roots:

--
Dear mly,

You know that I knew Janis Joplin and lived briefly in the same house
with her (married to someone else) boyfriend (Travis Rivers). She was
really nice to me. I worked at the Avalon Ballroom where Big Brother
was the House Band, so I saw her a lot.

She always got involved with really creepy guys. She was a terrible
drunk and used to drink cheap wine constantly. But she sure could
sing!

Love,
Mom

Ambassador Sat and Next Wed too!!

Save the drama for yo momma. I need to see you at the Ambassador twice in the next week cus I'm serving mad styles both this Sat, Mar 15 and next Wed mar 19th. Its one of my favorite places to Dj in San Francisco because the owners are very supportive of creative playlists. In between, for those in the know, is a private event Tuesdays at @ the Palms in Vegas for my boys from Right Gin.
