Like 1984... they use to say we'd all be barcoded. It use to scare the shit out of me truthfully. Now in the age of retinal recognition and RFID tags barcodes almost seem quaint and comfortable. get your personal barcode. I'm trying to figure out a way i can implement these things at the door at our events.. thoughts?

Weekend in review.

What a show. Big thanks to the MLNP family for showing out tough all weekend for some truly amazing events. We had a capacity crowd launch party for FLOSSY Fridays (First Fridays @ Slide). Dj Solomon and I rocked an impromptu 2x4 set full of music I'm sure had never been rocked at Slide on a Friday. Nobody wanted to leave and it seemed that the posse came back early to make SCENE Sundays the best SCENE yet. DJ Henroc played a mix of Reggae, Hip Hop Classic and Soul jams that had the dance floor shimmy shaking.

So its no secret that we are fans of the venerable classic chuck or "cons" and usually not so much a fan of other shoes who try and cop the converse steez. However, these little gems do the trick. Made by Lewis Leathers one of the UK's oldest and most respected motorcycle leather labels with Comme Des Garcons. They are constructed of all high quality supple leather sans the rubber toe cap usually find on a shoe this shape and they hug the dogs just right. I had to look for months online to find my first pair in this seasons hottest blue before finding a white pair here in San Francisco at Rolo. Limited doesn't describe the availability of these kicks so if you find em grab em. You wont be disappointed!!
