Dear mly,
You know that I knew Janis Joplin and lived briefly in the same house
with her (married to someone else) boyfriend (Travis Rivers). She was
really nice to me. I worked at the Avalon Ballroom where Big Brother
was the House Band, so I saw her a lot.
She always got involved with really creepy guys. She was a terrible
drunk and used to drink cheap wine constantly. But she sure could
sing!
