MISSION CONTROL DJ SOLARZ

The ROCK-IT SCIENTIST's DJ SOLARZ is a man on a mission.. a mission to control the dance floor. Every time we have him on the decks.. hot bitchez loose their shit. No lies Ive found the following items on the dance floor in the aftermath of a SOLARZ set at MANIC MONDAYS: 1 high heel, a hair weave and last time i found a set of silicone pasties stuck to the front of the dj booth.

Check SOLARZ & GUZIE's set from their last MANIC MONDAYS appearance, my bday at the link below:

BK2D90S LIVE SET 4.9.11

Another amazing Back to the 90's party went down this last week at 111 MINNA GALLERY. Miles Medina Baby got wicked on the crowd as usual and Fran Boogie and the Rufino Mafia kept em hyped. This here is the only bit of my set that got recorded. Live and full of authentic vintage 90's cheese. Chalk it up to technical difficulties/Alcohol related user error.

TAKE IT TO THE BRIDGE

I could try to explain how amazing the new Serato Bridge is but im afraid words will lack the impact of this improvisational jam session or remix if you prefer between myself on the turntables and Jonah Sharp (REFLECTIVE) on the  Roland TR-707. keep in mind the analog drum machines tempo is being controlled by the turntables tempo.. HOVERBOARD SHIT!!!!

GET SLICK WIT IT!

Slick D makes an appearance on the MANIC MONDAYS decks this March 7th. Make a plan to make it to MATRIX FILLMORE and shake it to the dj who is slicker than snot on a doorknob along side resident and host Me (DJ Mei-Lwun). Remember I am always the opener so you can get there at 9pm and know you will be entertained!! Thats my word!!!
